In May 2015, Your Shot member Yusri Salleh took his "first photo adventure," a ten-day trip to New Zealand, where he captured this image of the famed lone tree of Lake Wanaka. Setting the scene required some consideration. "When we arrived at the planned location, there were almost 30 photographers there!" writes Salleh. "The fog was too thick and the color was dull. A black-and-white image was the best option for the situation. I wanted the image to be moody, quietly [mysterious], and different."

Ontario-based photographer Michael Davies timed this impressive shot of his friend Markus hurling a thermos of hot tea through the air yesterday in -40°C weather. At such frigid temperatures water freezes instantly to form a dramatic plume of ice. For the last decade Davies has worked as a photographer in the fly-in community of Pangnirtung in Canada's High Arctic, only 20km south of the Arctic Circle, a place that sees about two hours of sunlight each day during the winter.

Your Shot member Andy Chisolm was taking a break from a rigorous surfing session when he captured from the flybridge of his boat this photo of a "feeding frenzy." The rock towering above the waves-Eddystone, an ancient remnant of the mainland-is about 27 kilometers (17 miles) off the coast of Tasmania, Australia, and some seabirds have been recorded nesting there. In this photo, New Zealand fur seals join albatrosses and seagulls in the apparent feast.

Welsh photographer Andy Lee captured these breathtaking scenes of Patagonian landscapes. "Shot on a recent trip to Chile, the photographer's images of the sweeping scenery embrace the power and solemn glory of the country's natural beauty."

Light rays are a difficult phenomenon to come by. Not only do you have to have the sun perfectly placed along the horizon, the atmosphere around you must also be filled with fog, dust or other particles to capture the light as it's passing through. Thankfully, for those times when you have the perfect shot, but don't have the rays to accentuate the scene, a little time in Photoshop can help add that extra little spice to the image to truly bring it to life.

As the New Year rolls in, I find myself looking forward to new things-new directions, new goals, new relationships. But with the start of a new year also comes a time for reflection (literally) of what I've accomplished and how much I've progressed. As I perform my annual "house cleaning"-purging old work which isn't up to snuff, and transferring the remaining photos to yet another new hard drive (I'm amassing quite the collection)-I've had the opportunity to put a fresh set of eyes on everything I've shot over the past year or so.

After days of cold, late autumn rain, the sun appears in Shiretoko National Park in Hokkaido, Japan. "He [seemed] to have eaten no mouse for several days," writes Your Shot member Hiroki Inoue of this fox, captured as it lifted its head to the rays.

Pre wedding photographers in mumbai are slowly changing the trend. Pre wedding photography has now become a norm. Indian weddings have undergone a metamorphosis of sorts in more senses than one and pre-wedding functions have gained ascendancy and universal acceptance. Pre wedding shoots are even more special than the actual wedding shots as they show the couple as 'a part and also as a whole'- mutually exclusive.

If you take many shots through your digital camera, you can turn those virtual images into real photos by either sending the memory card to a digital photo lab and pay to have the pictures developed there or you can purchase a digital camera printer also known as a digital photo printer. The printer of your own is a particularly good idea if you take a lot of digital camera pictures.
