Nature is a wondrous thing. At times doing things that frankly, amazes us! The selenelion effect made these photographs come out rather neat looking, only with some cropping done. This selenelion effect is when both the eclipsed moon and the sun can be seen at the same time. Of course I get what I am given and these photographs are what I got. A well known fact is, I dont do night time photography.

Mrsroadrunnerphotography.com is where I have been spending my time lately. As those who follow my post know by looking around the new site, I have a lot more work. More photographs to upload. At least one more album with people to make and who knows what else??

Singing in the new year is this Yellow Headed Black Bird I got at the mash in 2011. 2012 feels like it is going to be a great year, dont you feel it??

I like birds, always have. You will find I have many shots of birds of all kinds. This golden eagle was a character. First sighting of a golden eagle in the canyon for the both of us here. I noticed the tree he was perched in just did not look right. We were coming up out of the canyon where we were watching the Bald Eagles fish. This golden eagle did come out of no where to check us and the dogs out. Of course my camera was set up for the bald eagles..... This golden eagle really did startle us! This is the first photograph I got of him,
