To respond to the somewhat tense discussion we had in class today-- the flag does not have to be destroyed if it touches the ground, but it must be moved so it no longer touches things beneath it or the ground. It is to avoid it becoming soiled or damaged. While I try to understand the position of those who do not hold this symbol sacred, I also hope that as American's we respect that the flag is very important to many people for different reasons, and that in itself is a tolerance that should be considered. Few citizens agree with everything America has done or is currently doing, but we enjoy many rights and freedoms as citizens, and we have the right to protest those things we don't agree with.

Check this dude out! His work is really interesting and surreal. A lot of his photography has hidden messages about society, he's like the Andy Warhol of our generation.

i thought this was pretty interesting. it is really controversial but i enjoyed watching it

This is sweet to say this guys view on photography thats completely different from a lot of photographers views, its awesome how he shows the tips and steps that are used to make the final image in his works, great for this class to learn a new spin on photography.

this is a really cool picture by david hockney and its a bunch of pictures put together to make one image and its amazing because its not just one big picture he leaves white space and uses all different shapes to create the picture.
