  I read chapter three of The Daily Five, Fostering Literacy Independence in the Elementary Grades. The chapter was based on the concepts and materials needed to understand good reading levels for different children and helping them find good-fit books. This chapter also gives the steps of how to help a student progress with their reading. I found this book very useful because it helped me understand students reading levels and how exactly teachers can help them find the right books to read. I would recommend this book to anyone helping students with literacy.
