The other day I found a website where you could look up your family crest. I was curious and entered in my maiden name to see what I could come up with. Having a fairly short and common maiden name of Lee, there wasn't a lot of interesting information that came up. It should also be noted that I am a Norwegian Lee rather than an Asian Lee…this created some discrepancies.

Every time I hear people starting to argue the merits over what is the better precious metal, all I can think of is the holiday classic "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" when Burl Ives's snowman starts singing the song "Silver and Gold." As he sings it they are complementary metals, two colors that work together to make anything more beautiful.

I have too many earrings. It's actually bordering on ridiculous. As a child of the 80's, I gravitated towards vibrant fluorescent colored large earrings that were so heavy, they stretched out the piercings in my earlobes.
