I think it is appropriate to expand the subject that this group covers a bit to include the policy debate between renewable vs. fossil fuels that is now taking on a whole new life with the election of Obama.

Feel free to add your ideas questions etc. here. For anyone who is aware of the the peak oil issue, there can be no doubt that it is one of the most important, if not the single most important issue facing this country. We are clearly living beyond our means, and will need to make dramatic changes if we are to survive.

As part of and organizing project over at Newsvine, a large public News Blog, I posted a series of resources on this issue. I believe that you don't have to join Newsvine to go to that page where you will find links to many online videos and resources of value.
