This article also suggests public policy involved in these types of cases and can also spark ideas into ways that policy can become better and more fine tuned to fit the needs of our society today.

This strikes me as another press release. While interesting, I'd generally avoid linking to private company press releases, unless there's some clear innovation involved. A press release from Pew about a recent Internet study, or a Berkman Center release regarding recent research is OK. A private company press release should be viewed cautiously.

If the public information that is being taken by the government and seemingly used very little can prove to have benefits to society when used in an efficient and accessible way.
