It,s important to releazie the sitaution in which we were few before technology arrived. A decade ago, access to technology was limited and wiring schools was one of the nation's highest education priorities. Ten years of substantial investments have vastly improved this picture. therefore, this article has discusses the importance of technology in significan ways. According to the Secretary's Fourth Annual Report on Teacher Quality, virtually every school with access to computers has Internet access (99%), compared to only 35 percent of schools in 1994, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.

This article discusses the new and different ways people now get their information about things that are happening in the news. It is all about using social media to do this. Cities, towns and counties are taking advantage of these social media websites and it is helping them reach out to more people. People are already on these websites daily, so it is more convenient. It helps to engage the citizens. These new social media tools have also helped lower many costs.

Windows 7 runs noticeably faster in my experience than Vista on the same hardware. If you're running Windows 7 Home, it's not as big of a deal (if you're on XP, it can get messy to upgrade. Google has a new "Google for Nonprofits" program that offers discounted and free tools, apps and other resources. They even have the opportunity to get grants for up to $10,000 a month in advertising through using Google Adwords. They have created online resouces like educational videos and case studies to help nonprofits.

I think this is a really good incentive for nonprofits to get out there and use the technology available to them.

Researchers have discovered that the iPhone is keeping track of where you go and storing that information in a file that is stored - unencrypted and unprotected - on any machine with which you synchronize your phone. It is not clear why Apple is collecting this data. Data scientists Alasdair Allan and Pete Warden came across the file - "consolidated.db"

This can come in handy for in anyone who uses social media sites frequently.
