The NGO Code of Good Practice was developed by NGOs, for NGOs, to help guide our work by providing a framework to which we can commit and be held accountable. Drawing on 20 years of knowledge and experience, the Code sets out key principles, practice and evidence base required for successful responses to HIV.

RAPID programme aims to improve the use of research and evidence in development policy and practice through research, advice and debate. The Child Status Network (ChildStatusNet) was formed for users and potential users of the Child Status Index (CSI) toolkit to share best practices and lessons learned in its implementation among service providers to orphans and vulnerable children.

FXB Center for Health and Human Rights focuses on the practical dynamic between the issues of health and human rights. It carries out research on children and global adversity

This section on the FHI website provides links to two important resources, one on children affected by HIV and one on counseling for people affected by HIV. These practical books were developed by Catholic AIDS Action, a longtime IMPACT Project partner in Namibia.
