A lot of people are bewildered in defining offshoring and outsourcing. It's a fact that even those people employed under a business process outsourcing company are not familiar with their meaning. Most of the people thought that offshoring and outsourcing are two synonymous words.

Although BPO sector in India has grown tremendously over the last one and a half decade, employee unions are still struggling to find a place in the sector. India is a very big player in the outsourcing business and it seems amusing that BPO companies are least interested in empowering the voice of employees by establishing a union.

While most of the countries are acting towards liberating their policies and to open gates for globalization, people from the western countries have developed a disliking for it. The anti globalisation and anti capitalist movements have increased dramatically for the last few months.

Infosys - the Indian answer to Accenture is in the news for all the wrong reasons. First the company's profit in the three months missed analysts' estimate, notably, 3rd time in four quarters. The company which used to say that it will grow faster than the industry, has forecasted a gloomy picture of less than industry's average growth.
