    A Novel Design for a Biogas Generator in Developing Countries by Joanna Read A thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of BACHELOR OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING The proposed generator is designed to produce 3.2 cubic meters of biogas per day. This is the amount of biogas necessary for the daily cooking requirements an average family of eight people, the norm in Pabal. Initial conceptual designs are outlined and analysed by the use of a design matrix. The final design is also analysed and suggestions made for further improvements.
