    由於 KDE4 比起 KDE3 有許多功能上的改變,剛開始使用時真的讓我有點難以適應,不過經過了一段時間的使用後. KDE4 似乎真的比 KDE3 方便好用多了,姑且不論兩者桌面環境的資源耗損是否 KDE4 比 KDE3 來的吃重,但就功能面來看新的檔案瀏覽 Dolphin 以及 Add Widget 和 Folder View…等等功能,相較於KDE3可以算是許多大變革,尤其是從 KDE4.3 版本之後加入了 Social Desktop 的概念,讓您在桌面可以隨時看到訂閱的 Feed 或是使用 Twitter, Identi.ca 這些社群服務,只不過目前比較穩定的版本仍舊還是 4.2 or 4.3,所以想使用 KDE4.4 版本的人可能還得等到明年了,因為從官方的訊息看起來 4.4 schedule 到 明年1月...

    KDE 4.3.2 has been released on 6th October, so I also upgraded my KDE version from 4.1 to 4.3 in openSUSE 11.1 yesterday. Of course, there are some reasons why I upgraded KDE version. One of which is Choqok that is my favorite applications in KDE...

  • Open your favorite text editor. Edit the file located at ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc Go to the [menus] section of this file. Edit (or add, if it isn’t there) the “MenuEntryHeight=” variable to be the height, in pixels, that you wish the K Menu icons to appear. Save and quit. Restart the KDE Panels with this command: dcop kicker Panel restart
