  • True – however the contacts I have on my phone and iPad and Mac... they now sync into this mysterious lump of stuff called iCloud. IMAP inside the 'contacts' and mail applications. The iCloud control panelDon't need it. My current email client (thunderbird) has no option for adding a contacts account. It comes with the IMAP setup. Setup a new email account with the following settings:Incoming Mail Server•Host name – p02-imap.mail.me.com•Username – Email excluding "@me.com" Outgoing Mail Server•Host name – smtp.me.com Make sure SSL secure authentication is turned on.A note from that link: If you get an error stating that p02-imap.mail.me.com is not respronding please try p04-imap.mail.me.com.
