The MyTruLife OpenSim Resource Project is an organized effort to create both a directory of all things OpenSim in any Metaverse, and also a Shared Asset Library which anyone may freely use items from. The MyTruLife Membership is comprised of men and women from around the world who hold deep rooted beliefs that information and assets should be made freely available to help promote virtual reality and its utility value to the average consumer. All are invited to join in on the project and begin the journey with us of creating the best OpenSim resource the world has ever seen.

Have you ever had enough to create shortcuts again and again on your desktop, type and retype the login URIs again and again ? Just put them to the trash and install OpenSim Launcher ! Now you can choose the grid you want to connect to among dozens of others, and choose the viewer you want to use among Second Life viewer and RealXtend ! Never retype your avatar name again ! It reminds them for you. You may have different avatar names on each grid. Just select the grid and the corresponding avatar name shows up ! Your passwords are never stored anywhere for more security. You can also clear your stored identities.

Let-Us-Learn is an international project that aims to investigate the potential of a 3D virtual learning environment (3DVLE) designed to engage learners in collaborative, creative problem solving activities in which numeracy, literacy, life skills and creative activities are embedded in a motivating game-like environment. The general idea is make OpenSim technology into a learning environment for students in countries such as South Africa and Uganda (among others). Teaching everything from farming techniques and household economics, to multiplication tables.

This site will help you create scripts for your Second Life objects. These scripts allow you to add interactive elements to your builds without knowing how to code. All of the script are released under a creative commons license, which means that you can use them freely! This site tries to map the way you think into the way the LSL interpreter thinks. First choose what you want your object to do, then when you would like it to happen. You may be prompted to add some additional information. For example, you can create a script that will give a landmark to an avatar when they click on an object, prompt them to load your web site when they say "web" in chat, or simply welcome them to your land.

Havok allows free use of the physics engine for anyone who doesn't charge for the games built on the platform. There are no non-profit OpenSim grids yet that use Havok.

For our ongoing maths projects and our upcoming space inquiry we are using our open-sim 3D world - Pleasantville, to develop some skills and demonstrate our learning. This 3D environment is our own private learning space, which allows us to create and express in some amazing ways.
