Developing Guidelines on Open Educational Resources for UNESCO and COL

eMOCHA is a free open-source application, developed by the Johns Hopkins Center for Clinical Global Health Education. eMOCHA is designed to assist health programs in developing countries improve provider communication and education, as well as patient care, by coordinating wireless devices with local server-based clinical training and patient care support services.

This scene is a regular component of a ten-week distance learning course on HIV for physicians hosted by the International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) Mozambique and UEM, which houses Mozambique's main medical school. The course, developed by the University of Washington in collaboration with I-TECH Headquarters and translated and adapted by I-TECH Mozambique, is broadcast from a classroom at UEM

Using social media in medical education can not only engage 21st century learners, but also teach the next generation of physicians the best practices for using these tools.
