This is something that I am finding to be so true while taking this course. I thought I had a pretty good idea of the technology available but there is so much out there to explore. This course will help me as I put together my course and will help me stay up to date on the new technologies so that I can relate to my students in my course.

I love this aspect of online teaching. I love the collaboration between students enrolled in the course as well as others. We can learn so much from each other, we need to take advantage of that. Who knows, it might make things easier in the long run!!!

I think this is super important in the online teaching world. As a facilitator to an online course we must make ourselves known and be available for questions, comments, or concerns. Its not like teaching face to face, but it is still possible. We just have to make sure to maintain and find ways to stay connected with our students enrolled in our courses.

When putting together an online course, one must think about the content and find content and activities that will motivate students. Most of the online courses are for license renewal and you want the course to be beneficial but not too difficult your course won't be chosen. One must think about things that might interest the learners and find new and improved ways to engage students in learning whether it is in the classroom or an online classroom.

This is something that I try to do in my classroom is to post the objectives and expectations each day. This has helped me to do a better job of making sure that I stay on target and that I am focused on the objective making sure students are meeting that particular objective. It is just as important in an online setting as well, making sure to lay everything out on the line so that each student knows his or her expectations for the course.
