    This particular site is for English teachers and gives 101 excellent other sites that English teachers can use in the classroom. Also, students can take part in fun and engaging activities that have to do with English. goedonline.com is a great resource in general because it provides useful sites for all content areas. I used it to select 10 or so sites for each content area to give to my classmates when they are creating their custom search engine.

    This site is a wonderful example of a standards connector webpage. It allows you to compile lesson plans and attach the standards along with the concepts you are teaching. It not only has Common Core (which is what most sites have), but it also has the standards for Non-Common Core sites. This is a great resource.

World News Daily Report sounds legit, but when on their page, you can soon start to realize that their journal is faux. Although the articles may be based off of something true, there is so much false information in it causing it to be a fake news article. This is why you need Google Custom Search Engines.     While many sites gave me great things on the topics I did, 1:1 did not, it was very difficult to find helpful sites for this type of teaching. This website gives an through explanation of 1:1 teaching, but with things you also need to watch, like: manage technology, protect your data, and also teach the teacher.

    This site especially cool because it helps break the barrier between students and teachers by using a facebook-Like atmosphere. It allows the students to collaborate with one another as well as take quizzes and do other assignments. Edmodo is also a way for teachers to help each other out. This site is D2L meets facebook, very cool!

    My daughter's school uses Edmodo and it works great for students. Teachers assign homework, and students ask follow-up questions while completing the assignment or anything concerning the class lesson.
