"Educreations is a community where anyone can teach what they know and learn what they don't. Our software turns any iPad or web browser into a recordable, interactive whiteboard, making it easy for teachers and experts to create engaging video lessons and share them on the web. Students can replay these lessons any time, any place, on any connected device. We're on a mission to dramatically improve student achievement by extending the reach of great teaching." You are able to create videos where you can teach your lessons and draw like it is a white board.
Easel.ly is another great tool for creating visually stimulating infographics. There are many different templates that should catch the eye of the students. The creation process is a fairly simple one full of drag and drop elements.
"Tackk is a place connect with friends, be creative and have fun conversations."
Based on what I learned from my short time of playing on Tackk's website, I have found it to be an interesting way to allow students to be engaged in their learning. One big use that comes to mind for me would be an online study guide. In history courses this could be particularly useful. You can add videos, maps, images, text, etc that the students can look over and review at their own pace.
Pinterest can be used as a guide for your creative ideas as you plan your lessons. By simply searching for words such as educational technology and lesson planning you can get a plethora of ideas regarding those areas.
