Andrew Marcinek has written a really good article on how to become a successful digital citizen and even provides specific skillsets at certain grade levels.
The New Jersey Education Association gives some very helpful tips on how to integrate digital citizenship within everyday lesson plans and use it inside the classroom. Some examples could include: Edmodo, Digital Passport, etc. and even provide your students with a safe learning environment.
This is a really good resource over the importance of Digital Rights and Responsibilities. It gives insight on how many individuals value technology so much that it becomes an addiction. There is also a really good Ted Talk over Digital Rights and Responsibilities. However, it is about 19 minutes long, so we won't be watching it in class.
This is a really helpful website in helping to better understand the nine elements of Digital Citizenship. There are specific definitions provided to you within each of the nine elements.
