This is a nice blended learning tool kit, with listings of free Courseware, free Online Texts, and free Video Resources, followed by a section offering tools for 'remixing'.

This is a website to help prevent cyberbullying. There are a variety of helpful tools such as information about how to be responsible on social media. There are training opportunities to help stop cyberbullying. There are many other helpful tools that might be useful for teachers and parents.

This is a great resource for free or almost free learning tools for the classroom. It is split into different grade levels to make it easier for teachers to search.

I chose this resource because it talk about six tools that help with teacher-parent communication. Being able to communicate with your students parents is a very important factor and it explains that and how to improve it. It discusses six different apps that are used in different ways and gives alternatives to the one he describes.

Common Sense Education provides a list of various tools that teachers can use to communicate with parents, whether they want to communicate via social media, use remind alerts, or start something like a class website.

This website allows the creation of a storyboard. Features provided are a drawing tool, script writing, and actions. The most neat tool about this app is you can add collaborators. This would allow for students to work on one together and comment on each others work.

This app can be found in the Apple Store and it allows you to create a video with many tools. Tools provided are text, picture uploading, pictographs, doodling, voice recording and much more. I found this to be easier to use than other options and great for kids!

X-ray Goggles is another great tool that Mozilla makes to help students learn the code that powers much of what they see on the Web. X-ray Goggles is a free tool that lets you remix any page that you find on the Internet. (Note, it doesn't change the way others see the page, it only changes the way that you see it). To use X-ray Goggles you need to install it in your Chrome or Firefox bookmarks bar. Then you can launch it on any webpage. When you launch X-ray Goggles you will be able to select images and text on a page and then shown the code behind your selection. Tineye is a free tool that helps you conduct reverse image searches. In a reverse image search you're searching for the places where an image has been posted online. Conducting a reverse can be a good way for students to discover information about an object or location featured in a picture. As demonstrated above, when the image is located through Tineye students can click through to the source to see how the image was used and what was written about the image. Performing a reverse image search can provide students with a good lesson on digital footprints. Have them conduct a reverse image search for images they have posted online and then count the number of places where that image has appeared.

Easel.ly is another great tool for creating visually stimulating infographics. There are many different templates that should catch the eye of the students. The creation process is a fairly simple one full of drag and drop elements.

This App allows you to "take collaborative notes, share data and files, and use comments to share your thoughts in real-time." It is an excellent tool to develop collaborative note-taking and writing outlines. Classroom projects and group works can be a lot easier with this app.

Padlet is another way to collaborate with students or parents who want to quickly and easily post something for anyone to access. There is an option to post anonymously. It's a great tool for feedback or questions/concerns or even a way for parents and students to talk to one another.
