While searching for a set of guidelines to follow when creating an education portfolio, I found several that were listed under other universities (mostly out of state). I wondered if OSU had it's own and did a quick search of our school site and found this pdf.
D2L is a Learning Management System (LMS) that we here at OSU know quite well thanks to the Online Classroom. It is a great way to connect all of your students into the class. You can do online quizzes, synchronous communication, asynchronous communication, upload syllabi and other content, etc.

I chose this website because it is applicable to almost every classroom. It is used for classroom organization and communication. It's similar to blackboard.edu and brightspace.edu that we have here at OSU. It's a place to collaborate with your teacher and fellow students. It is compatible with all devices and works really well with BYOD.I also chose the link because the sight is described and recommended by an edtech teacher website.
I chose this site because it's an extensive article regarding how the marriage equality decision affects LGBT parenting. It's a full article from a peer reviewed journal from a search I performed using the OSU-Tulsa Library site. It's for teachers to learn more regarding how to understand these different families.
Having a copy of digital learning standards that presents them in a way that is easy to understand as well as broken down into understandable chunks will help as we work through digital portfolios and their relevance in a 21st century classroom.
Readwritethink is a website that involes a classroom as well as the community on what is going on within the classrooms. There are also resources for the students to use at home as well as at school.
Tripline.net is a website that is a virtual fieldtrip website. Children are able to view resources outside of the classroom while in the classroom.
Purposegames.com is a website that allows students to play games to learn. They can use these websites outside of class as well as in class.
Mathforum.org is a website that allows students to learn math better and get a better understanding online. They can use this at home as well as in school.
The Oklahoma Mesonet is a world-class network of environmental monitoring stations. The network was designed and implemented by scientists at the University of Oklahoma (OU) and at Oklahoma State University (OSU). The Oklahoma Mesonet consists of over 110 automated stations covering Oklahoma. There is at least one Mesonet station in each of Oklahoma's 77 counties.
What is LiveText? LiveText is an online electronic portfolio development and management system. An internet based subscription website that allows users to create and submit projects and assignments on-line. You start with a template and add your work and reflections on your work into LiveText.
