Climate of Dehradun: Dehradun is a rainy city. It is one of the highest rains receiving area. In summer it is pleasant and not so hot there but in rainy season it rains a lot and in winter is too cold some time the temperature drop below freezing point. Dehradun is a place where one can visit any time there is no best time to visit. Whole year is good to visit there.

The Latika Roy Foundation is also situated within the provincial frontiers of Dehradun that helps the people with different disabilities for education and for the development of their future.The city does acquire the first press for Braille script in the India which provides education and collaboration to the blind children. The city is also the home to the first institute India that assists blind people that is the National Institute for Visually Handicapped (NIVH)
