A calendar resource is anything you schedule that isn't an event. The most common example is a meeting room. Other examples might include projectors, company fleet cars, guest offices, recreation equipment, or any other resource that the people in your organization might schedule a time to use.
This is an excellent example of a school with not a lot of funding and a vision for the future utilizing technology. Everyone is on board from administrators to students. It works in this school so why not the SU?
By default, users with Gmail accounts at your domain can send mail to and receive mail from any other email address. In some cases, you want to restrict who your users can exchange mail with. For example, a school might want to allow its students to exchange mail with the faculty and other students, but not with people outside of the school.

Anyone who sees a page that says 'An update to your account is required' when they sign in will need to complete at least part of this process. This only affects people who have an organizational account (for example, a Google account given to you by your employer or an organization you work with).
