Assistive Technology Tools for Learning Differences and Executive Function Challenges |... - 1 views

  •
"My Assistive Technology Toolbox I use a wide variety of technologies in my practice -- both high-tech and low-tech -- too numerous to mention here. But I'd like to list the most significant ones that I rely on, and that I include in my trainings. Because so many software tools perform multiple functions, it's difficult to list technologies by category such as "Technologies for Reading" and "Technologies for Writing" -- certain tools would show up in several places -- so I've chosen to list them in a more eclectic manner that's still somewhat logical."

WriteRoom - Distraction free writing software for Mac & iPhone - 2 views

  •
"I created WriteRoom as an alternative to Microsoft Word. WriteRoom's full screen writing environment gets your computer out of the way so that you can focus on your work. The result is a subtle clearing of the mind that I think helps you write better. Simply get words on the page WriteRoom won't do page layout or insert tables and graphs. WriteRoom's focus is just to help you get words on the page. Stay focused with WriteRoom's distraction free environment. Stay on track with word count. Stay safe with autosave."
