MiamiOH OARS on 09 May 19The mission of the Children's Heart Foundation is to fund promising research that advances the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of congenital heart defects. In support of this mission, CHF awards grants of up to $100,000 in support of life-changing congenital heart defect research in the areas of clinical cardiology, basic science, population science, and the advancement of surgical/interventional techniques. Funding areas of interest include but are not limited to genetics; biochemistry; pharmacology; devices and procedural research (cardiac catheterization and surgery); neurodevelopmental and functional outcomes; quality and policy regarding delivery of care, coverage, and access; maternal environment and modifiable disease impact on fetuses with CHD; fetal diagnosis and intervention; and long-term care of adults with CHDs.
