This program is authorized by federal appropriations acts. The CYEM Program supports comprehensive, community-based efforts to develop or expand prevention, intervention, treatment, and response strategies to address the needs of children and youth impacted by sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and sex trafficking. The CYEM Program also funds prevention efforts that engage men and boys as allies to combat violence against women and girls.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) is accepting applications for fiscal year (FY) 2018 Strategic Prevention Framework - Partnerships for Success grants. The purpose of this grant program is to address one of the nation's top substance abuse prevention priorities; underage drinking among persons aged 9 to 20. At their discretion, states/tribes may also use grant funds to target up to two additional, data-driven substance abuse prevention priorities, such as the use of marijuana, cocaine, or methamphetamine, etc. by individuals ages 9 and above. SPF-PFS is designed to ensure that prevention strategies and messages reach the populations most impacted by substance abuse. The program extends current established cross-agency and community-level partnerships by connecting substance abuse prevention programming to departments of social services and their community service providers. This includes working with populations disproportionately impacted by the consequences of substance use; i.e., children entering the foster care system, transitional youth, and individuals that support persons with substance abuse issues (women, families, parents, caregivers, and young adults).

The purpose of the BHWET Program for Professionals is to increase the supply of behavioral health professionals while also improving distribution of a quality behavioral health workforce and thereby increasing access to behavioral health services. A special focus is placed on the knowledge and understanding of children, adolescents, and transitional-aged youth at risk for behavioral health disorders.

The Eos Foundation seeks an equitable and just society where the basic human needs of all individuals are met, and where children grow up well-nourished, healthy, and with opportunities for high-quality education and the skills/tools to achieve economic self-sufficiency. In support of this mission, the foundation is accepting applications for its After the Bell Breakfast Launch Grant Opportunities program. The benefits of the ATB breakfast program include lower absentee and tardy rates, fewer morning nurses visits and behavioral problems, and higher academic achievement. Under this RFP, technical assistance and one-time grants of $10,000 will be awarded to eligible, high-poverty schools/districts and charter public schools in Massachusetts for the launch or expansion of ATB programming. Districts may request district-wide grants.

The foundation's MDS Research Fund (MDSRF) seeks to advance the understanding and treatment of Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) and related blood disorders and expands the foundation's investments in support of cutting-edge basic, translational, and clinical MDS research with the potential to establish future standards of care and, ultimately, a cure. This notice solicits applications for the Family-to-Family Health Information Centers (F2F HICs) Program. The purpose of this program is to provide information, education, technical assistance, and peer support to families of children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) and the professionals who serve them.

This solicitation provides funding to develop intervention and supervision services for adolescent sex offenders and children with sexual behavior problems, and to provide treatment services for their victims and families/caregivers.

The Street Outreach Program offers support to provide street-based services to runaway, homeless, and street youth who have been subjected to, or are at risk of being subjected to, sexual abuse, prostitution, sexual exploitation, and trafficking. The application deadline is June 20, 2018.

Projects must have the potential to help American children in a large geographic area (more than one state).

This notice announces the availability of funds and solicits proposals for projects that address children's environmental health risks in southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, or Texas communities located within 100 kilometers or 62 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border including but not limited to those that support prenatal environmental health education, healthy childcare education, environmental health youth summits, or pediatric environmental health training. Please Note: Communities who are impacted must be within 62 miles (100 kilometers) of the U.S. side of the U.S.-Mexico border.
