The purpose of this FOA is to fund a single coordinating center to formalize and centralize support for the HEAL Preventing Opioid Misuse and Opioid Use Disorder in Older Adolescents and Young Adults (ages 16-30) initiative administered by NIDA. The coordinating center will provide administrative and scientific, technical, and logistical support for coordination of common data elements, data harmonization, data sharing across projects; methodological and statistical support in the areas of study design, complex statistical analyses, economic analyses, implementation research; coordination of stakeholder and partnership engagement activities; developing and coordinating a HEAL prevention initiative publication and dissemination plan, providing logistical support for in-person meetings, conference calls, and webinars that include HEAL prevention grantees, funders and stakeholders. In addition, the coordinating center also will assist with collecting data on prevalence, incidence, risk and protective factors, and contextual factors in the identified populations and settings that will inform HEAL prevention research projects.

The Coordination Center for the Models of Infectious Disease Agent Study (MIDAS) program will serve as a hub for collaboration, testing and dissemination of research products from the network of MIDAS investigators. The Coordination Center will also serve as the primary repository for MIDAS-related datasets, models and software. The Coordination Center will maintain, promote and maximize utility and use of the shared MIDAS resources. In addition, the Program Director(s)/Principal Investigator(s) of the Coordination Center will proactively develop collaborative activities and educational opportunities intended to enhance the utility of MIDAS resources and to improve the training experiences for members of the MIDAS network and their graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. Limited funding will also be provided to allow the Coordination Center to conduct impactful research on the evaluation and meta-analysis of existing modeling resources for the study of infectious disease spread and intervention.

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) seeks grant applications for a Research Coordinating Center (RCC) to support associated "Heart, Lung, and Blood Co-morbiditieS Implementation Models in People Living with HIV (HLB SIMPLe)" UG3/UH3 phased cooperative agreements that propose to optimally and sustainably address late-stage implementation research questions to address the delivery of proven-effective prevention and treatment interventions for heart, lung, blood, and sleep (HLBS) comorbid diseases and disorders in people living with HIV (PLHIV) in World Bank designated low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). For the purposes of this FOA, late-stage implementation research is defined as research to identify strategies to achieve sustainable uptake of proven-effective interventions in routine clinical, public health, and community-based settings and maximize the positive impact on population health. The RCC will coordinate the collaborative efforts of the global alliance of funded UG3/UH3 phased cooperative agreements conducting late-stage implementation research within the following geographical regions: East Asia and the Pacific, Europe and Central Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, Middle East and North Africa, South Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. The RCMI Research Coordination Network (RRCN), formerly known as the RCMI Translational Research Network (RTRN), was established in 2007 to enhance collaboration across RCMI institutions. The network is designed to engage all stakeholders in the RCMI institutions, increase the quality and efficiency of basic biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research, facilitate study participant recruitment and retention, and increase the efficiency of the implementation and dissemination of research advances to improved health outcomes among minority and health disparity populations. Maintaining the longstanding networking and collaboration with the RCMI grantee community is key to the continued success of this program. The purpose of this FOA is to identify and support a Clinical Coordination Center (CCC) for the Common Fund Acute to Chronic Pain Signatures (A2CPS) Program. The Clinical Coordinating Center is expected to serve as the hub for the Multisite Clinical Centers (below) to support study design, efficiency, progress, and quality, and to coordinate and monitor study implementation across the clinical sites. This limited competition Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) seeks an application from the current Sickle Pan-African Research Consortium (SPARCO) Hub in Tanzania to continue coordinating, as the Clinical Coordinating Center (CCC), activities of the renewed and expanded Consortium (SPARCO), including the 3 established sites in Ghana, Nigeria and Tanzania as well as up to 3 new Consortium sites located in additional sub-Saharan African nations. Together, the CCC, the Sickle Africa Data Coordinating Center (SADaCC, see RFA-HL-21-008), as well as established and new sites of the Consortium (RFA-HL-21-009) will constitute the Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) Network. This network aims to develop a sustainable resource that will advance sickle cell disease related epidemiologic, translational, and clinical research studies. The SPARCO CCC application needs to propose a feasible and meritorious plan for expanding a sickle hemoglobinopathy registry database that can facilitate patient tracking and follow-up and serve as a backbone for future SCD research. In particular, this FOA seeks an application that proposes to identify database elements and plans for harmonization of SCD phenotype definitions and ontologies, and integration of Collaborative Consortium activities with those of the DCC (SADaCC), NHLBI, Steering Committee, Observational Study Monitoring Board (OSMB), and existing training programs. The application needs to describe approaches to the development of regionally appropriate standards of SCD care, as well as approaches to the organization of research and clinical skill development activities. The application also needs to include coordination of Consortium sites to allow for development, implementation, and conduct of SCD cohort studies, as well as implementation research of preventive/ therapeutic practices.

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to provide continuing support for the Informatics, Coordination and Service Center (ICSC) unit of the Mutant Mouse Resource and Research Centers (MMRRC) program. The ICSC is expected to provide informatics and coordinating services to the centers of the MMRRC and biomedical researchers. These services include maintenance and further development of a public website portal and Customer Service Center; operation of the order processing system; review and processing of applications from donating investigators; facilitation of interactions with biomedical investigators, informatics services, database activities, and the archive of MMRRC documents and files; coordination of requests to donate mouse strains to the MMRRC and to order mouse strains from the MMRRC; oversight of marketing efforts; and completion of monthly and yearly metrics reports. EPPIC-Net will serve as the cornerstone of the NIHs Helping to End Addiction Long-term (HEAL) Partnership. EPPIC-Net will provide a robust and readily accessible infrastructure for carrying out in depth phenotyping and biomarker studies in patients with specific pain conditions, and the rapid design and performance of high-quality Phase 2 clinical trials to test promising novel therapeutics for pain from partners in academia or industry. Studies will bring intense focus to patients with well-defined pain conditions and high unmet therapeutic needs. EPPIC-Net will consist of one Clinical Coordinating Center (CCC), one Data Coordinating Center (DCC) and approximately 10 specialized clinical centers (hubs). As the main data manager for pain research in the HEAL Initiative, the EPPIC-Net DCC will host and manage clinical, neuroimaging, biomarker, omics, and preclinical data from EPPIC-Net and other components of the HEAL Initiatives pain research program.

The purpose of this FOA is to establish a center to coordinate and analyze single cell and other molecular data sets generated by SCORCH and other NIDA-funded HIV and substance use disorder projects and to make the data findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR) to enable secondary analyses by the scientific community. The SCORCH Data Center will coordinate, curate, analyze, and provide public access to single cell SCORCH datasets and other NIDA-generated molecular HIV/SUD data. The SCORCH Data Center will also be responsible for integrating the efforts of all funded components of the NIDA SCORCH program and serve as a community-wide nexus for single cell protocols, data, assay and data standards, and other resources generated by the program. The SCORCH Data Center and NIH staff will need to work closely together to accomplish these goals. Applications that are not responsive to this FOA will not be reviewed.  To be responsive to this FOA, projects should be framed to answer one or more vexing questions about persistent HIV infection in the brain.  In addition, the major thrust of the proposed project MUST: propose to coordinate and analyze single cell and other molecular data sets generated by SCORCH and other NIDA-funded HIV and substance use disorder projects. propose to make this data findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR) to enable secondary analyses by the scientific community.

The purpose of this FOA is to fund a single interdisciplinary Coordinating Center to formalize and centralize support of the rural opioid initiative administered by NIDA and co-funded by CDC, SAMHSA, and ARC. This initiative was funded under RFA-DA-17-014 and RFA-DA-17-023 The Coordinating Center will provide scientific, technical, regulatory, ethical, and logistical support of data comparability, new data collection, and data integration; developing integrated rural opioid initiative datasets; assisting grantees with acquisition and analysis of local administrative and/or research datasets that enable evaluation of their implementation activities or augment their community assessments; conducting requested analyses that relate to the integrated rural opioid initiative datasets; developing and executing a rural opioid initiative publication and dissemination plan; and providing logistical support for in-person meetings, conference calls, and webinars that include the rural opioid initiative grantees and funders. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications for a CHR Data Processing, Analysis and Coordination Center (DPACC) to support and extend the work of the proposed Clinical High Risk for Psychosis Research Network to be funded under RFA-MH-20-340 . The DPACC will provide oversight and coordination of two parallel lines of inquiry: 1) The aggregation of extant CHR-related data sets and subsequent secondary analyses for refinement of multi-modal biomarkers and development of biomarker algorithms that predict individual clinical trajectory and outcomes and 2) The management, direction, and overall coordination, including data processing and analysis, for a new multi-site network(s) focused on dissecting the heterogeneity of the CHR syndrome. Toward achieving the first goal, the DPACC - in conjunction with NIMH and external working groups - will identify appropriate extant CHR data sets, aggregate and harmonize the data through development of a standardized processing and analysis pipeline for each data type, upload the data to the NIMH Data Archive (NDA), use computational techniques to identify and validate biomarker algorithms and/or risk calculators that predict the clinical trajectories and outcomes for individual patients, and establish a curated public data set that will serve as a resource for the research community.

Environmental exposure induced perturbations of epigenomic marks are correlated with disease pathogenesis.  Identifying changes in epigenomic marks, (e.g., DNA methylation, histone modifications, chromatin accessibility) in affected tissues/cells is not always feasible in humans. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) seeks applications for a Data Coordination Center (DCC) as part of an ongoing NIEHS program in environmental epigenomics. The purpose of this FOA is to establish a data coordinating center that serves as a component of the TaRGET II Consortium. This Consortium will explore the conservation of perturbations of epigenomic marks across target tissues/cells and surrogate tissues/cells using mouse models of environmentally relevant diseases. The DCC will make available the resulting data for utilization by the broader scientific community. Ultimately, the TaRGET II program will provide insights into the design and interpretation of human studies where target tissues are inaccessible.

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications for a Data Coordinating Center (DCC) that will support the Diabetic Foot Consortium (DFC) for clinical research on diabetic foot ulcers. The first studies will validate biomarkers that predict healing or response to therapy and assess infection or recurrence risk. Future research may involve clinical trials and studies on the pathophysiology of diabetic foot ulcers. Given the clinical complexity of diabetic wound healing, the applicant must have experience serving as the DCC on clinical studies of diabetic foot ulcers. The NIEHS and partnering Institutes and Centers are establishing an infrastructure, the Human Health Exposure Analysis Resource (HHEAR) as a continuation of the Children's Health Exposure Analysis Resource (CHEAR). The goal of this consortium is to provide the research community access to laboratory and statistical analyses to add or expand the inclusion of environmental exposures in their research and to make that data publicly available as a means to improve our knowledge of the comprehensive effects of environmental exposures on human health throughout the life course. This FOA solicits the HHEAR Coordinating Center (U24) that will serve as the administrative hub and external access point for HHEAR, managing and tracking the flow of projects, materials, and analyses between HHEAR units and participating investigators. In addition, the coordinating center will support administrative functions such as convening HHEAR Steering and Executive Committee meetings, and organizing education, outreach, and publicity activities.

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications for an Early Psychosis Intervention Network (EPINET) National Data Coordinating Center (ENDCC) to support and extend the work of regional scientific hubs described in companion announcement RFA-MH-19-150. The ENDCC will lead efforts to (a) harmonize early psychosis common data elements, standard measures, and uniform data collection procedures across multiple early psychosis Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) clinics within regional networks; (b) build informatics infrastructure and pipelines necessary to gather and store de-identified, patient-level data collected across all regional clinics; (c) develop data analysis, presentation, and reporting tools to facilitate timely quality improvement and program evaluation efforts across regional networks; (d) identify innovative CSC assessment, intervention, and quality improvement practices for broad dissemination; and (e) make national CSC data available for practice-based research to improve early identification, diagnosis, clinical assessment, intervention effectiveness, service delivery and health outcomes in early psychosis. The ENDCC will combine regional datasets into a national repository of early psychosis common data elements, clinical measures, assessment and intervention strategies, and de-identified person-level data from patients receiving CSC services. Data assembled by the ENDCC will facilitate large-scale, practice-based research to improve early identification, diagnosis, clinical assessment, intervention effectiveness, and health outcomes in clinics offering evidence-based care to persons in the early stages of psychotic illness.
