Language Arts Volume 89, Number 2, November 2011 Issue Theme: Beyond PowerPoints and Scavenger Hunts This also includes an article by Nell Duke et al on using the internet in K-2, though have not read that one yet.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Evernote is a suite of software and services designed for notetaking and archiving. A "note" can be a piece of formatted text, a full webpage or webpage excerpt, a photograph, a voice memo, or a handwritten "ink" note. Notes can also have file attachments.
Here's my website (new one in process!). I teach my 3rd graders to recite over 40 poems throughout the year. Using poetry as a vehicle, there is so much literacy that happens. The best news it is easy for both the students and the teacher!
This will give you background on the literacy through poetry program I developed! Thanks for looking. Janet
