I think a key element to the credibility of this set of resources is that they were curated/produced by the Science Education Resource Center (SERC) at Carleton College and its partners with funding from the National Science Foundation.
A visualization from NOAA that shows what the earth would look like if all water drained out. Good to show so students can see the mid-ocean ridges, ring of fire boundary, etc.
A great lesson for kids to dig in and look at patterns to figure out what is going on at plate boundaries around the world. It is a jigsaw type activity.
