    although i believe it takes 2 to clap, i think the position of the uploaders can be liken to someone who displays a cd he brought in his home and plays it for his friend. whereas the downloaders are those who requests to duplicate the cd knowing perfectly well that it is an illegal act.

    using the golden rule, i feel that the downloader should be arrested and fine. i believe no one will want their hard work to be duplicated and copied without proper recognition.

    some questions after reading..
    why no actions were taken against the host website? music companies are working closely with ISP to combat copyright infringement, but why arent they working with the host website to prevent the illegal downloading?
    Instead of arresting and fining the downloader, i feel that the host website should take up a greater responsibilty.
