The website talks about creating 'halal' search engine and a 'halal' YouTube so as to cater to the growing population of Muslim that are online. The creators of these websites starts with the good intention of trying to filter out what can be deemed as 'undesirable' content so as to make surfing the net more 'safe' for the Muslims.

Will this be a case of a good intention leading to a possible bad outcome? Who really gets to say what is acceptable or not? With the concept of right and wrong being changed rather rapidly and deviates rather substantially between cultures, is it possible to narrow down to a bubble of definition of right and wrong which can servers the vast majority? Isn't it better to educate the masses on how to handle when one chances upon 'undesirable' materials online? Is this a case of other people imposing their value of right and wrong upon others? Even within a culture there might be subtle difference between how those who subscribe to the culture sees the world, therefore if this trend do continue, is it an ,perhaps unintentional, attempt to try to conform the masses to a set of rules?
