I had not heard the "Be My Everything" chorus until I visited a new church last week, but I'm glad I learned it. It's a perfect prayer for an integrated and sold-out life. My family and I have experienced the same thing this year as we stepped out in faith to move closer to family and pursue a ministry God was calling my husband to. It's been difficult, but I've learned how FAITHFUL He is. Every. Single. Moment. I'm glad you've joined The High Calling network and look forward to reading more about your journey.

I love the way you captured the strain and stress of married life. And I like this especially: This beast loves undivided attention. getting taken on adventures, being held in embrace. These things soothe her, make her more manageable. It is so true-that without Christ, we wouldn't have a prayer (literally!). :) Thanks for this, and for joining The High Calling Network.

Welcome to The High Calling! I'm glad to find you among the new members. JOY is the word I've been focusing on this year, and through several trials, God has taught me the very thing you're expressing--that obedience and abiding leads to joy. Not material goods, or answered prayers, or anything else I "think" will bring it.

I work with refugees, and I see God's heart for them every day...there are answers to prayers here in our non-profit offices you wouldn't believe (or maybe you would!). I am so glad you're writing about justice, and the way God sees the poor. Bless you! And welcome to the High Calling network. We're really glad to have you!
