Future | It's honestly not that complicated. - 1 views

  • I love that--the right job is out there, waiting for her. Amen! :) I also love Jer. 29:11. It has been a lifeline for me so often when things "look" out of control. Thanks for your honesty, and sharing your journey with us at the High Calling. Welcome!

Congratulations on your baby…and you're he High Calling. We so right, a baby changes absolutely everything…in the best way(s). We're glad you've joined us at The High Calling. We have a lot of resources for you to use in parenting, work, and your faith journey. With a baby coming, we pray (and expect) 2012 will be your best year ever. :)

So true, so true. I've been on much the same journey this year and God has proved Himself faithful time and time again. It's so easy to listen to the enemy instead of our Best Friend…and His Word. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and how God's been teaching you. Many people are hurting and in distress right now and it's great to find a ministry that's dedicated to showing them Jesus' light. Oh, and welcome to HCB-I look forward to seeing more of your excellent writing there.

My family and I have experienced the same thing this year as we stepped out in faith to move closer to family and pursue a ministry God was calling my husband to. It's been difficult, but I've learned how FAITHFUL He is. Every. Single. Moment. I'm glad you've joined The High Calling network and look forward to reading more about your journey.

Amy, I'm really glad you've joined The High Calling. It was fun to hear about your She Speaks experience--I've always wanted to go and haven't been able to you. I'm one of the welcome editors at THC and wanted to offer my support and perspective as you try to get published. I love writing and just signed my 5th book contract with Kregel. Good luck and Godspeed on your writing journey! I hope to get to know you better as you participate in our network.

Kristin, I see you're an avid reader! I have two other books that I would highly recommend. The first is "Sink Reflections" written by Flylady (Marla Cilley) and is a wonderful book that practically addresses clutter in a way that is not overwhelming. There's even a Facebook page for Flylady. The second is 1000 Gifts by Ann Voskamp. It's a wonderful book about practicing the discipline of gratitude, written by someone who struggles with agoraphobia. Powerful! And welcome to The High Calling!

Mark, I just wrote a bit about resurrection and Mary/Martha in my last post. "Jesus wept" is such a powerful verse, especially because of its context. We're really glad to have you as a part of the High Calling network. I hope you find inspiration and encouragement as you share your blogging journey with us. :)
