I'm a little biased in the news I choose to read with great attention to detail since I will be in Puerto Rico in only a few short months, however this news is still quite the big deal down there. UPR campus has been shut down now as students continue to strike. Just as I have been experiencing a lack of communication as well as a lack of proper documentation for my study in the fall, so has the person trying to negotiate with the strikers, Valerie Rodríguez (president of the General Student Council of the UPR at Bayamón) said that, "Río Piedras does not inform us or provide documents."
