The list given below is an up-to-date guide to all 'Key Concepts' that have been published in the Journal. The list contains links to the original articles, which are available to download free of charge (PDF file).

VOICE, the Vienna-Oxford International Corpus of English, is a structured collection of language data, the first computer-readable corpus capturing spoken ELF interactions of this kind.

Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) academic is uniquely placed at the interface of theory informed practice and practice informed theory in English Language Teaching (ELT).

Not a TESL site, but this seems like a great resource, so I'll postit here. As far as I can tell, this site if free for educators. Following is the description provided by the site: "Using Bookshare® is simple. You can search for a specific title or browse through the library and its special collections, including newspapers and magazines. With a Bookshare membership, you can download accessible titles onto your computer or read them with a variety of reading tools that give you a range of options. To enhance your web experience, you can take advantage of the site's accessibility features."

This site is a treasure trove of NNS of English reading a short text. Each text includes a narrow transcription. There is an amazing range of languages available (and for some more than one speech sample).

From TED-Ed, source of some high quality materials. This 4 1/2 minute video is a very nice history of plural in English. Pretty advanced for students, but good for teachers.

"Since 2003, StoryCorps has collected and archived more than 45,000 interviews with nearly 90,000 participants. Each conversation is recorded on a free CD to share, and is preserved at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. StoryCorps is one of the largest oral history projects of its kind, and millions listen to our broadcasts on our Listen page and on public radio"

From Pearson ELT...Jeremy Harmer is giving a lecture series on TESL pedagogy...this link gives you info about the 4th lecture which is on June 19th.  It looks like you can access the first 3 lectures too, but you'll have to register on the Pearson ELT site.  Links to other useful things too...
