    I have looked up thrombocytes and the first says it is a blood platelet, the second states it is a destruction of blood platelets. I have looked it up ib blood in the A&P text book and the closest I found was thrombin...any help on this would be helpful, it is Question 13....thanks.

    Thrombocytes-Also known as platelet, are required for coagulation of the blood and in maintenance of haemostasis. Thats in mosby nursing dictionary
