This website has 10 games you can use with your students on earthday. Since it was recently Earthday, I decided this would be an appropriate topic. I think it is important that young students use computers and play games occasionally, especially when it is helping them learn about something as important as our earth, and their computer skills.

Came across this as I was doing my action research. My school, and many others, uses NETS standards for their technology policy. Some resources for teachers and admin here.

A series of Social Studies Web Quests

I like this website because it has educational games for kids to play. I think its important for children to know how to use computers, and learning through an online game can be a fun effective way to do this.
