It's Connected Educator month here in the United States, which has me thinking about how we get more educators connected to one another. There are a number of sources of inspiration for Connected Educator month, but one important one is the National Education Technology Plan.
The word 'network' is key here - because I believe one of the fundamental changes that journalists have to adapt to in the 21st century is the move to networked modes of working.
These research findings re-enforce what I hope NDSU Extension is doing in the field, but they also highlight our failings in our efforts to educate and communicate online.
Great post about collaborative learning in k-12 classroom. If every kid was educated this way, what would happen when they came to college or wanted to learn something from cooperative extension. Would we even know how to teach them?
