    Dawn On The Horizon is designed to train young adults and their adult advisers how to conduct an evangelizing Communities) is designed to help older adolescents and young adults build a small community and experience the dynamics of pastoral ministry in a small community. This process of community building consists of four stages: general preparation, an initial journey, eight community meetings, and a final retreat. Through this process, the participants receive an invitation to walk with Jesus on a communal journey and, together with other young people, build God's Reign on earth. Part 2 (Dawn on the Horizon: A Novella) is about a parish group of Hispanic ministry in small communities. Dawn on the Horizon is divided into two parts. Part 1 (A Process for Creating Small older adolescents and young adults. The novella constitutes the key instrument for the reflections done by the participants in the initial journey and the community meetings. Its purpose is to encourage the group participants to reflect critically on their personal, community, and social lives through the characters in the story. St. Mary's Press, 2000.
