This site has many world languages and teaching/learning materials for these languages. English is one of them and there are many documents available. All the documents are peer reviewed and given stars so that you know how well these activities worked in the past.
Lots of great ideas about the integration of Web 2.0 tools and articles about the use of technology in the classroom. There is a forum too if you have any questions about the use of technology and you can get ideas from other teachers/professionals.

I used to have several penpals when I was learning English and I definitely enjoyed it a lot (hopefully learned form it, too). Students can find penpals through this website.
The New York Times has a blog named 'The Learning Network'. They post several activities everyday. These include cloze texts, multiple choice reading comprehension questions, puzzles and videos with discussion questions.
They also have a word-of-the-day page where they post a new word everyday with its meaning and a sample sentence.
I check their page from time to time to see if any of the activities would be appropriate for my students. You can also assign them as homework or students can work on them on their own.
The British Council has an island for learners and teachers in the Second Life virtual environment! So you can virtually visit the UK for free :) Interactive activities and quests are available for all registered Second Life residents.
BBC's website was previously bookmarked but I especially like this 'Games' section they have. There are many games to improve vocabulary and grammar and they can be fun/helpful for all ages and levels.
