Debut Video Recorder provides a great tool if you want to record video or capture an image on your screen. I used it to record student speeches before my college installed cameras in our speech classrooms. It can be saved to a flash drive and does not have to be installed on your computer the way most programs do.

Great tools for student to create in the online course.

This is a really easy program to create videos/screencasts. You get a link that you can post in course emails/announcements/assignments/syllabi, etc. It doesn't caption yet but I have put in the request for this feature. I use the free version.

Great augmented reality labs that can be used to practice in Anatomy. I've even made my own assignments by using the pictures from the assignments.

This paper raises serious doubts regarding the success of our educational system in preparing students for the knowledge society.
