I've been experimenting with virtual labs in my physics courses - here's a bit of independent support for that notion. So far I've simply used the University of Colorado PhET site, but am interested to find other sources too. Wonder if anyone else has taken a more considered approach to multimedia "virtual" learning tools.

My students actually love this. One of the assignments they have in my composition class is to "teach" a grammar topic they have been assigned. They are required to make a presentation and an assessment. Many of them choose to do Kahoot!

I never thought Snapchat would work in a classroom setting. I think it's time for me to stop being too old school and meet my students in the middle and allow them to enjoy my messages in whatever reasonable way that is necessary.

This helps. It gives a good path to how to use this teaching and learning tool.

These online collaboration tools will enable students to communicate and collaborate fast and easily. This will sustain their interest, improve focus and they would be able to contribute in best possible way and get quality results in turn.

Social networking communities are here to stay. Facebook has over 500 million users, while Twitter has over 200 million. That's not even counting blogs or YouTube video blogs. There's no doubt that students are actively engaged in online communities, but what kind of effects are these sites having and how can parents counteract the bad and bolster the positive?

Khan Academy has great ready made videos for A&P students needing additional support in their studies. I highly recommend their content and videos.
