Save-ums ABC Kids TV - 0 views

  •
The Save-Ums are a group of six anthropomorphic characters of various designs, who help various creatures when they run into difficulty. A typical episode begins with a call on the "adventure screen" (essentially a videophone) from an inhabitant of the world in which the Save-Ums live. The caller describes the difficulty that needs to be solved, and then selected Save-Ums travel to the scene of the problem. If you have Discovery Streaming in your district, the Save-ums episodes may be included in your subscription! The Save-Ums then assist in solving the problem. Each episode ends with the problem being solved and the Save-Ums returning to their headquarters ("Save-Um Central").

"OLogy is a Web site for kids created by the American Museum of Natural History. The development of OLogy has been made possible by a generous grant from The Louis Calder Foundation. Early Childhood and Family Learning at the American Museum of Natural History provides exciting science learning opportunities for young children and families through OLogy, the Discovery Room, the Science and Nature Program, and Public Programs. Support for Early Childhood and Family Learning has been provided by the Edith C. Blum Foundation, ConEdison, the Filomen D'Agostino Foundation, the Edward John Noble Foundation, and Ravi and Mona Sinha. Additional funding has been provided by Dr. and Mrs. Marc Avram/Elizabeth and Richard Dubin Foundation and the Louis and Virginia Clemente Foundation, Inc. Privacy is a very important issue for all Web sites. Our Privacy Policy tells you how we are designing this site to be safe and fun at the same time. OLogy is a production of the National Center for Science Literacy, Education & Technology at the American Museum of Natural History. The National Center would like to acknowledge the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for its programmatic support."
