Muslim Academy on 09 Jan 13Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) is the newest form of Arabic language, which is used in writing and in formal occasions. It is derived from classical Arabic, but there are many differences in both forms. So many things have been reformed in Standard Arabic, especially in the field of vocabulary. But the fact is also there that as both forms are of same language, i.e. Arabic, so there are more similarities than variations. Both variants of Arabic are referred by Arabs as al-lugha al-arabiyya al-fuS-Ha or just as al-fuS-Ha or fus-Ha.
