GC: Really impressive course!
Author: If you're learning to play the electric bass, you might notice the resources online for the instrument are scarce when compared to the girth of content available for guitarists. Fear not however, because of StudyBass.com.
The site, the brainchild of a bass instructor with over 2,000 students experience, aims to supplement in-person electric bass guitar lessons online (although if you have enough discipline you could conceivably use the site to teach yourself a lot.) The site consists of lessons to read, supplemented with videos and audio clips, as well as a variety of exercises, quizzes and songs.

A study guide takes you through the basics of music theory, including reading music and the role of the bass guitar in modern music, and eventually onto playing the blues and complex chords.
A word of advice from the site's creator: if you're going to use this site without the help of an in-person instructor, be sure to record yourself regularly. This will allow you to hear yourself as you really sound and (hopefully) allow you to be self-critical.

the site is a user-driven community with a focus on individual track recommendations. There are no restrictions on what can be recommended and there's deliberately no spot to enter a genre. Why? Because I think genres are stupid and just get in the way of people listening to music. Besides, the site is interlinked in such a way that genres are superflous (see below). One thing the site does have is keywords. When recommending a track, users can specify some words or phrases to describe the mood of the track. Clicking on that word in the recommendation launches a search for any mention of the same word

We help you to build a fan base that is both loyal and passionate about your work and then the promotion is a matter of sharing your video with your built-in fan base who will in turn share it with their social networks.
This site is based on independent research into chord progressions in tonal music and shows how chord progressions create musical phrase structures similar to sentence structures in natural language.
Also included is a section on how harmony works in Pop and Rock Music!
Bandcamp isn't Yet Another Place to Put Your Music. Rather, we power a site that's yours. So instead of ads for Sexy Singles Chat, your fans see your design, your music, your URL. You retain all ownership rights, and we just hang out in the background handling the tech stuff.
