You get more than one speed of music from this album. It travels from great driving music, to the dance floor, to the street, and to the bedroom. It is impossible to get bored with this album, because there's is no one constant. It makes the listener wonder what the next song will bring. If you enjoy R&B and Hip Hop, you get the best of both worlds and it's impossible to just listen to once, in fact, you get hooked. The disc opens to a folder containing 23 construction kits ranging from 80 to 180 bpm, with most hovering around 120. I'm immediately impressed by the scope of what's offered: everything from dream-pop, robot music, techno-goth and early Ministry-like electro industrial (minus screaming guitars) to erotic '80s house and even a cool downtempo new-wave rap beat

brings together social networking, Wikipedia bios, reviews in Pitchfork Media, tour info, Google news search, Technorati search, affiliate links to buy. Seems like a good enough idea.

RSS feeds are available by user and media type, and it looks like an item discussion feature is in the works. Lib.rario.us is much prettier than del.icio.us, but my only wish for it and the rest of the tagging/Web 2.0 world? Drop the domains with w.ithdot.sinwe.ird places. At first it was cute, but now it's just maddening.

I love finding good music mashups, and MusicMesh is definitely one of the better ones that I've come across lately. You've got a lot to look at here: just type in your favorite artist's name and you'll be treated to a smattering of related albums plus what you're looking for, as well as YouTube vids, track listings, user reviews, Wikipedia entries, etc. I got pretty distracted following the related music suggestions; they seem to be pretty well thought out as compared to other music services that in my experience can put some pretty wild stuff together. Worth a look and a listen.- Wendy Boswell

Jennifer Grassman is an Alternative Pop singer/songwriter from Austin, Texas. Her sound is a unique blend of Tori Amos, Sara Bareilles, and Amy Lee with a twist of Goth and Doris Day. Did I just say, Doris Day and Goth in the same sentence? Yes, I did.
