Remix One-Shots reviews February 2008: Sample Logic The Elements, Big Fish Audio Syntro... - 0 views

The disc opens to a folder containing 23 construction kits ranging from 80 to 180 bpm, with most hovering around 120. I'm immediately impressed by the scope of what's offered: everything from dream-pop, robot music, techno-goth and early Ministry-like electro industrial (minus screaming guitars) to erotic '80s house and even a cool downtempo new-wave rap beat

Musicovery : Discover new music - 0 views

  •
Those of us who love Pandora will especially enjoy Musicovery, an "interactive webRadio." Here's how it works: you pick a main genre, such as classical, soul, pop, etc. Then you pick a "mood" within that genre; this could be anything from energetic to positive to dark. After that, you'll get a visual representation of your musical selections all looped together, and you can zip around from bubble to bubble as the whim strikes you. Musicovery is a nice way to find music that I wouldn't have thought of, and while it does need some tweaking (why no playlists?), and it's definitely not a Pandora-killer, it's still a great way to plug into and explore your favorite music. Oh, and no registration required - just start listening away. - Wendy Boswell

Check out this weeks artist spotlight with music from a gifted contemporary pop artist, Lindsay Aline from San Francisco, CA. She is so talented, her voice will absolutely amaze you. Radio show, Episode 54: http://bit.ly/LAline Featured Interview http://bit.ly/bsiQEG This full length album is a track filled showcase of Aline's tremendous vocal talent and her ability as a seasoned pianist. The flagship of the Illusion CD is by far, "Reach". The modern style melodies absolutely compliments Aline's powerful and emotionally charged voice which is no less than phenominal. The story of the song is an abstract tale about the struggle that comes with finding the love of her life and maintaining that spark that drew them together.
