If you like Ne Yo Drake, Jay-Z, and Kanye West, then you have to listen to the featured artist of the week with Devon Michael. The best part about Devon Michael is his originality. You get more than one speed of music from this album. It travels from great driving music, to the dance floor, to the street, and to the bedroom. It is impossible to get bored with this album, because there's is no one constant. It makes the listener wonder what the next song will bring. If you enjoy R&B and Hip Hop, you get the best of both worlds and it's impossible to just listen to once, in fact, you get hooked. Jennings was chosen for the artist spotlight of the week for her beautiful voice and amazing musical talent. Jennings is a gifted signer, song writer, pianist, and one of the many hiden talents from the unsigned and independent industry that deserves to be in the mainstream spotlight. So, I hope you take the time to listen to this 5-track preview.

Hailing from the very heart of hip-hop culture (Ann Arbor, Michigan) Tadd Mullinix aka Dabrye is back on the shelves at your local record store (if you are lucky enough to still have one) with his third full-length release Two/Three. The enigmatic and fractional title is the follow up to his 2001 debut One/Three and 2002 sophomore release Instrmntl. Mullinix, who is quite the busy beaver, also makes house, techno, and industrial music under other monikers. So it's not surprising that his brand of hip-hop is a little bit left of center. A Dabrye album is as likely to feature white noise, sawbuzz analog synths, and found sounds, as its title is to include numbers or consonants, it seems.
