The clock is ticking and the final countdown to Bestival has well and truly begun. As Bestival are just 10 short weeks from the Year of the Fantastic Bestival thought Bestival'd whet your appetites for Isle of Wight shindig by announcing even more sensational acts that will take your brain to another dimension over the weekend of September 9-12. Bestival also have some super-exciting news of a very special cross-channel collaboration.

There are just under eight weeks to go until we all make the journey to Dorset's glorious Jurassic coast for a weekend of joy at Lulworth Castle and we have got some super-exiting news for you including the fact that the Jousting will be on every day! With 53 sleeps before Camp Bestival throws open its gates it's not long until we can enjoy three full days of partying with Madness, Friendly Fires, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, The Human League, Calvin Harris, Tinchy Stryder and many more musical pleasures. Plus there will be literally 100s of free things for kids to do, amazing food from the likes of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and his River Cottage Café, enlightened and erudite entertainment at the East Lulworth Literary Institute, Fairy Tale fancy dress, Zippos Circus, The House of Fairy Tales and much, much more.

Acrobatics There will be plenty of acrobatics on display from Zippo's Festival Circus, the Roundhouse Circus Company, the Insect Circus and the Big Top Mania Crew.
