This episode is a mixture of inspirational music from various artists and calls from soldiers to say something to their friends and families at home and calls from people in the US to let the soldiers know we support them and wish them to come home safe. In honor of the troops, I hope you will listen.

Episode XVIII. This weeks artist spotlight is a local talent from Chino Hills and Inglewood, CA native, Madd Doc aka The D.O.C. On Call mixtape was released July 2009. This is the true essense of hip-hop. Just when you think Hip-Hop died back in the 90s after Biggie and Topac with no chance of resurrection. 92 Fam brings back hip-hop.

Tangent Transmission is not the typical Los Angeles rock band. In fact, they give a whole new definition to the meaning of rock. The artist spotlight of the week goes to a talented duo called Narcolepts. Lead singer, Craig Lawrence and guitarist, Aaron Wilson collaborated to create Narcolepts early 2009. After last years ground breaking success of the innovative electro-tech sounds of his last creation, Shadow Fax, Chemical Resort LP, Jason Rivers returned to the studio to work on this years new release with his breakout Rogue Sixx EP, called, Solid State. This one-man band has it all with electrifying sounds that will have you begging for more.

Since April, I have produced and published my own podcast. In this podcast, I interview band members and select tracks from their library and put together what is called an Artist Spotlight. I use this podcast to promote talented unsigned bands and independent music artists.
